Manu Chao cancels Bayside Show
May 24, 2007 - 10:05 am
The first victim of the new Coronado noise ordinances. He’s canceled his June 5 show at Bayside concerts. He’s moving it to Plaza de Toros Monumental, Tijuana Mexico. Which, honestly, is a better place to see a dude who sings in 412 languages.
But the question is: How did Bayside not know that Manu Chao was too loud when they booked the show? Did a grandma from Coronado get a hold of a Manu Chao CD and complain? More news as I get it…

I saw his Bayside show last July and it didn’t seem particularly loud, though it did last longer than most shows there.
that is because we were enjoying the green thing and without water.
haha, well and because they played about 42 encores.
There goes that recommendation…
aw, man! glad i saw him last year, just in case i can’t make it down to TJ.
