Street Scene 2007 Lineup: Beastie Boys in, Spoon out.

As we predicted on June 6, it looks like The Beastie Boys will be the marquis act at Street Scene. That’s a big improvement to the lineup. We, like Bush, are basing this confirmation on “significant chatter.” But we, unlike Bush, are probably right. We will dutifully post a “we’re suckers” post if we end up being wrong.
Also, per Live Nation’s Greg Terlizzi, Spoon has canceled. That’s a significant blow to the lineup.

i skipped coachella the last time they headlined that show- to avoid having to deal with it all but it’s better news then say… kelly clarkson- who- i hear- is available!
losing spoon is a big hit to an already weak lineup, their new cd is great. of course, street scene has added the village people, so…
