Yay! Gonzales is going and I’m cheering. I’m not apologizing for it, either.
Sure, he’ll probably go work for some right-wing think tank and never be held accountable for his reprehensible leadership or criminal activity. A few may even feel sorry for him after all that “unfair treatment” our naked emporer claims Berto received during these last turbulent months. But at least Gonzales won’t be able to ignore the Geneva Conventions or wield all that powerful power recently bestowed through Congress’s approval of the new and improved FISA laws. These jobs will have to be done by the next criminal Bush appoints for the job as Attorney General.
