We didn’t even know it was on the block. Carl DeMaio, now a candidate for City Council District 5, announced today that his think tank and consultancy, the Performance Institute, has been sold to the Thompson Publishing Group. Thompson’s provides guidance to companies looking to navigate the thicket of government regulations in areas like health care, food and drug compliance, education, and environmental regulation.
DeMaio will continue on as the chair of the Performance Institute Board.
