Chip Franklin, still the second biggest waste of air (Rush is the first)
This morning, Chip Franklin, the new voice of AM 600 KOGO, read a story about a New York woman who accidentally strangled herself with handcuffs after being arrested for losing her temper when she missed a flight.
After making a few stupid comments about how rude New Yorkers are, he asked listeners to call in and describe “the type of tourists who bother you most.” The first call was a relatively harmless comment about Raiders fans, but the second call was — shocker– some guy who can’t stand “Mexicans who act like they own the place.” There was another stupid comment about rude French people then I think — or I hope — a smarter-than-idiotic-Chip producer stepped in and suggested a change of topic. I really can’t stand this guy. Tune in and join the “I Hate Chip Franklin Club.” Right now, it’s me and some guy from Baltimore (where Chip came from), but my hope is to have everyone in San Diego with half a brain join by the end of the week. One quick and painful listening session is all it takes.
I officially declare myself a member. For the record, the type of tourists who bother me most are the assholes who come here and take airtime (and radio jobs) pushing their blathering nonsense. Chip Franklin: Bad Tourist!
Oh those Mexicans. Thank goodness all the folks from the USA who make the trip down to TJ are such well-behaved beacons of civility and cultural respect in an otherwise topsy-turvy world.
Nice…Problem with the ignorant posters here is they tall half the story. I’m sure they treat Mexicans with all due respect.
Rush Limbaugh is someone who provides a great commentary to the falsehoods that are being thrown out by drive bys; as in the fraud perpetrated on us by the Global warming crowd, for one.
That is ONE big criminal case that better be shown to be a fraud as has been proved by the emails posted on the links and URLs on the Drudge Report…and other places not associated with the internet exclusive publications.
