Aguirre’s guardian, Pt. 2

October 26, 2007 - 9:02 am

Following up on my post below, looks like Mike Aguirre called Scott Lewis of voiceofsandiego.org back and told him they’d had a misunderstanding.

Looks to me like Aguirre read bloggers Don Bauder and Pat Flannery (scroll down to “Aguirre needs to be perfected”) and reasoned that he’d better rely on their defense of him. I like Mike and all, but I’m with Lewis on this one. This was one of Aguirre’s missteps.

Keep trying Dave. You may get that job with the voiceofSD yet.

Is that all you got, “Native Son”? Or can you make an actual argument on the subject at hand? Did you read Aguirre’s memo? Or are you just one of those 100-percenters no matter what the facts are?

OK, now that we’ve established that you can cut and paste links to other people’s blogs, can you form an argument? I’m not trying to be a smart-ass, I just want to know what your point is. Really.

I’m generally pro-Aguirre, dude, just not 100 percent of the time. Why is everyone so weird about Aguirre? Why does one have to be 100 percent for him or 100 percent against him? Why can’t one support him sometimes and criticize him other times?
