Final nail in beach freedom coffin about to be hammered

Next Monday, the San Diego City Council will choose one of 4 proposals to restrict or ban alcohol at all San Diego beaches, bays and parks. The harshest proposal removes all alcohol from all beaches 24 hours a day every day of the year, including a ban on everything from sipping champagne on a blanket at sunset beside the bay with your sweetie on your anniversary to putting rubbing alcohol on a paper cut.

If you want to push for the least Draconian proposal, go speak up at the meeting (conveniently held early Monday afternoon downtown)–
When: 2pm, Monday Nov. 5
Where: 202 C St. on the 12th floor.
