Holy crapamoly. According to her answer to the second-to-last question of this warm ‘n’ fuzzy Q&A, Marti Emerald earned an annual salary of $150,000 as Channel 10′s consumer reporter. Damn. I, like most of you, am in the wrong business. Emerald did stories like this one about how taking your shoes off when going through airport security could be hazardous to your health.

She had been doing these reports for as long as I can remember… all the way back to the Ron Burgundy days, I think… and long before I remember hearing the Turko theme song.
