The downside
Watching MSNBC news whilst drinking my morning coffee, I saw a commercial for the Cypher® Stent, which promises to fix narrow arteries. It starts with a forlorn man sitting in a chair, peering out a window—apparently lamenting his sedentary lifestyle. Following a sales pitch and a montage of old people enjoying their wide-open arteries by swimming, boxing and lifting steel girders, the obligatory warning came on: Side effects include blood clots and heart attacks.
Hmm, on second thought, that chair by the window looks pretty good.

Due, have you seen the ad for the drug that cures restless leg syndrome or something like that but the side effects include–i shit you not–an increased urge to gamble? I love listening to the potential side effects of pharmaceuticals while i’m sitting around not taking any.
“due” was supposed to be “dude,” dude.
