I once had a roommate who was obsessed with singing. She’d sing in the shower, sing in the kitchen and even sing in the living room while playing a god-awful karaoke video game.

If I had seen this PSA, I would have definitely sent it her way along with an e-mail begging her to give it a try.

The San Diego Chorus is recruiting new women singers (the full announcement can be read below).

The San Diego Chorus will go for another gold medal in the upcoming Sweet Adelines International competition in Honolulu Hawaii in November 2008. It takes months of preparation, hard work and dedicated singers to win this prestigious contest.

THE SAN DIEGO CHORUS is a women’s a cappella chorus singing 4-part harmony (barbershop style) and dedicated to local entertainment and international competition. With a highly trained and talented membership of 100 women, the chorus has a 53-year history in San Diego and has been marked by more awards, medals and prizes than any local sports team. The San Diego Chorus can accommodate your special needs with our full chorus, mini-chorus, double quartet or quartet offering an exciting repertoire of songs complete with costumes, stage makeup and choreography.

The San Diego Chorus always welcomes guests to visit us during our rehearsals. We rehearse on Wednesday nights from 6:30pm to 9:30pm. Our rehearsals are held at the Casa Del Prado, Room 207, in beautiful Balboa Park located in downtown San Diego. We look forward to seeing you!
