Will the real Scott Peters please link up?

At this morning’s Scott Peters City Attorney campaign kickoff, one of Peters’ supporters held a sign demanding, “Google Scott Peters.” So, I did.
The first link is to Scott Peters’ City Council webpage. The second is to Scott Peters’ imdb page, revealing him to be a producer of the canceled SciFi TV show The 4400. The third link shows that Scott Peters’ is a bodybuilder with many bodybuilder friends. On the second page, I found out he’s a photographer and a center for the Arizona Cardinals. Thanks, sign guy. I learned a lot.

My favorite sign at the announcement was “Scott Peters plays well with others.”
Well, given that it looks like his main constituency is kids (what is that all about?), he’d better.
I would have said “works well with others” – but that’s just me. Actually, he does play well. I watched him play with Mitch Berner in council hearings enough to make me gag. And it has always been the same game, as if he had never met Berner before and Berner didn’t know anything about how to apear before the council – like Peters explaining how Berner could have more time to speak and Berner acting grateful and naive. Who will take up this game when Peters is gone?
