City Attorney Mike Aguirre made two announcements today:
* The Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals issued an emergency ruling ordering the city to put back the protective rope barrier that kept the people and seals separated at the La Jolla Children’s Pool.
* A Superior Court judge rejected a request by residents of the DeAnza Cove mobile home park that the city pay them $46 million in relocation costs. The city, which owns the land, ordered the residents out in 2006 in order to build a public park.
