When’s H&M coming to SD?

A friend sent me a link to an L.A. Times style blog bit about H&M’s plans to sell Marimekko stuff this spring. (Marimekko‘s a Finnish textile-arts company that also make lovely bags, clothes and home goods.) When I was at that new Eastlake mall a couple of months ago, there was a sign up saying H&M would be opening there this spring, though I’m not seeing it on their list of new stores online. Hmm… time to investigate.

I’ve heard it’s the end of April/beginning of May for the Chula Vista store, and an unspecified date in the fall for Fashion Valley. They’ve started hiring people for Chula Vista.
