Justin, are you kidding me? Flimsy attack? Really? Maybe you failed to check out all of the factual information, supported by actual documents, not the falsehood DeMaio continues to put forward. Lets see - the Republican party spent over $400k on the election of Kevin Faulconer, and the firefighters spent approximately $24k - who's buying votes? The Labor Council has it exactly right - pull your head out of the beautiful San Diego sand and understand that DeMaio is only interested in self promotion - not in the taxpayers of San Diego, or more importantly, the residents of District 5. Clearly he's looking at trying to make San Diego a blue-print for his version of "reform" which he then can go sell to other cities and uninormed taxpayers. Isn't it interesting that he's made his money off of government contracts yet he tries to protray himself as a professional trying to cut waste - How about governments cutting out the expense of sending individuals to his for-profit seminars about cutting waste and inefficiency. Only in this screwed up town could anybody seriously consider DeMaio.
