My e-mail is your e-mail
My life, your life and the lives of everyone we know is now so dependent on e-mail — or texting or variants of both — it’s sort of frightening. What are the long term effects? What is it doing to society in terms of social interaction? Things have gotten to the point where we’re making up words like “netiquette” and offering classes on proper e-mail etiquette.
I get so much e-mail, that I end up ignoring about 50 percent of it. And my responses to the ones I don’t ignore are curt, or brief at best. I’m starting to feel guilty. Below is a glance at some of my e-mails. From a dub concert/camping excursion in Mexico to a San Diego fixed-gear site, there’s something in there for everyone:

I love your magazine. I pick up a City Beat at all the local spots. I am a resident of Mission Beach and my boyfriend and I developed a website called www.BuyandSellJeans.com. The website not only allows users to quickly and easily sell their jeans,it allows users to browse over hundreds of top designer jeans at reasonable prices. I have seen many stories on local businesses in the City Beat and was wondering if we can be highlighted in an upcoming issue. Thank you.

Hello everyone,
I just wanted to give you quick update on what’s been going on from Jamie Roxx land.
Things are very busy around here but it’s all very exciting.
Besides my normal workload of commissions and personal appearances we are currently in production of Jamie Roxx TV.
This is very exciting for me. Jamie Roxx TV will be a web based half hour program focusing on my goings on in the art and celebrity worlds. I also will be showcasing a new musical act per episode. So yes lots of interviews and a dripping helping of the zaniness that seems to be my world. I mean it really was inevitable with the cast of characters that I hang out with.
I also wanted a more direct way to showcase some really exciting new artistic talent that I am always coming across in all my adventures.
This is something I have been wanting and needing to do for quite sometime. The problem was just finding the level of quality, price and customer service that I would feel comfortable in putting my name with.
I put out the question to a lot of my professional band friends and whatnot, and it came back almost to the band, Zazzle.
So we checked them out and sure enough they are great. Great quality Merchandise, the Shirts have the most Vibrant inks I have yet to see. And they are really good quality and high end made. In fact I have been very pleased with this company all the way around.
