Chris Cantore back in San Diego

Yep, the once-upon-a-time, longtime morning host at 91X is back on the air, but this time Chris Cantore’s voice is being brought to you by the good people of the X1FM Network, a San Diego-based internet radio station.

The X1FM folks (who’ll be pissed when they see I called them an internet radio station, since they prefer to call themselves “a live, interactive, full-service radio station” that’s “unlike streaming services”) will kick things off next Monday on Cinco de Mayo (May 5 for you gringos out there), and the Cantore show will continue Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to noon thereafter.

For a little history on the Cantore saga, check sddialedin.com. Rosie did an excellent job of keeping track of the radio vet.
