STRAUSS FOUNDATION AWARDS JESSE A. DUBLER
$10,000 PUBLIC SERVICE SCHOLARSHIP
The Donald A. Strauss Public Service Scholarship Foundation, established as a memorial to the late Don Strauss of Newport Beach and now designed to award $10,000 scholarships to at least 14 California college juniors annually, has announced that among the foundation’s new group of recipients is University of California, San Diego undergraduate student Jesse A. Dubler.
Dubler’s press release goes on to tell us he “hails from Encinitas, CA” and that he’ll be working with the Algalita Marine Foundation to study and clean up plastic ocean debris. To his credit, Dubler spelled everything correctly, and he used proper grammar. That’s more than I can say for some other PR stuff I get.
