Just got word that the Knights of Columbus, a Catholic nonprofit, donated $1 million to the Yes on 8 campaign. Proposition 8, on the November ballot, would amend the state Constitution to eliminate the right of same-sex couples to get married. The Yes on 8 campaign’s press release on the donation said the Knights of Columbus group has a “history of fighting for civil rights.”
So, I ask, why has it now switched to being an organization that fights against civil rights?

LDS (Mormon) ‘Yes on 8′ Game Plan
I’ve posted a letter sent from Boyd K. Packer on July 28th to the California LDS stake presidents:

Apparently, there is a plan in place to put up one million ‘Yes on 8′ yard signs at 7:00 am on September 22nd.
