The Rubber Rose Gallery
Alas, the ladies at The Rubber Rose are closing the gallery section of their space and will only be focusing on the sexuality boutique from this point forward. At 7 p.m. this Saturday, Aug. 30, they’ll be holding a closing celebration of sorts, but the news is not good by any means.
If you or anyone you know are interested in leasing the amazing space (thousands of square feet, plus a kitchen and bathroom) contact The Rubber Rose. It’d be perfect as an artist studio — but obviously you’d have to get a few of your artist friends to go in on it with you. Are there any art collectives in town I don’t know about??
The last show in the space was by Spencer, a local artist who does amazing things with wire. Below are a few pictures from the show, which is being taken down as we speak.
