Good reason for missing a deadline

This afternoon, the editor for Louisville’s alt-weekly, LEO, sent out this e-mail to other alt-weekly editors:
Hey all,
Due to his arrest yesterday and other contributing factors (the cops confiscated his notes), our guy at the RNC is taking a bit longer than expected getting his photos and story together. I’ll have it up by early afternoon tomorrow.
I apologize for the delay.
