    That was five days ago…Saint Paul was a mini-police state/police riot during the convention and I’m guessing the SPPD is going to be hit with scads of lawsuits. But the SPPD didn’t do it alone; there was a “fusion center” (an FBI/Secret Service/local police command-and-contol center that also gathered intelligence from paid informants) overseeing the ID-less cops in riot gear. This was no small-scale operation by a local “red squad”; cops from the surrounding counties were brought in to crack heads.
