Emerald extends lead in District 7 City Council race

The county registrar of voters keeps counting up absentee and provisional ballots. The only local race even marginally in doubt, the District 7 City Council race, has Marti Emerald extending her lead over April Boling to 533 votes. If pollster John Nienstedt’s estimates are right, there’s still 5,000 ballots left to count.
