PLAN A: Simian Mobile Disco @ The Casbah. Simian were a progressive pop band that—after being remixed by Justice for the massive club hit “We Are Your Friends”—morphed into Simian Mobile Disco. I kinda wish they’d revert to their former ways, but, hey, ecstasy heads need something decent to dance to. BACKUP PLAN: Jack Beats @ Beauty Bar.
It’s the beat, stupid! Also, check out the video for “I Believe.” I swear they filmed that in some Romanian village.
The fact that Jack Beats is playing Beauty Bar is quite the coup for them. All electro fans should try and clone themselves so they can make both these shows.

really seth? you’d really prefer Simian to Simian Mobile Disco? i find that difficult, nay impossible, to believe.
Actually, I wrote that, Mr. Dirt. And yes, I really prefer Simian to Simian Mobile Disco. Did you ever hear the original version of “We Are Your Friends”? Far superior, and far less pandering to the dance crowd.
note: original version is called “Never Be Alone.”
