San Diego Shows–Friday, March 27

PLAN A: The Homosexuals, Kill Me Tomorrow, Boo and Boo Too, The Anasazis @ Soda Bar. Forgotten U.K. post-punk heroes The Homosexuals are playing shows again in hopes of gaining the recognition they were denied during their original late ’70s run. The performance should be a revelation to fans and newcomers alike. PLAN B: Earthless, Red Fang, Early Man, Hostile Comb-Over @ The Casbah. The male-to-female ratio here will be approximately 10-to-1, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing. That way, the audience will have more opportunities for in-depth conversations about why Megadeth and post-Ozzy Black Sabbath aren’t that bad, and why Old Milwaukee is better than Pabst Blue Ribbon. PLAN C: AIDS Wolf, White Mice, All Leather, Vaginals @ Che Café. All four of these bands would probably be content if you left without liking them. This may seem counterintuitive, but in their minds, showing contempt for the audience is a display of affection.
Man, they still got it! Just check this out from last week:
