Burdick cool with project labor agreements
June 8, 2009 - 2:27 pm
The big news so far at today’s City Council meeting, at which a new member of the San Diego Port Commission will be named, is that Lee Burdick, who was nominated by Council President Ben Hueso and Councilmembers Carl DeMaio and Tony Young, said today’s editorial in the Union-Tribune misrepresented her position on project labor agreements. Contrary to what the editorial said, she’s not opposed to them.
Burdick is up against Marshall Merrifield, Bill Evans and Diane Takvorian to replace resigned commissioner Laurie Black.

Burdick is a just shill of the downtown old boys developer network. The council should give the Port job to Takvorian.
Council does not “give” position to anyone. Who of these four has “earned” their way to represent San Diego?
