Harry Potter marathon starts Friday
Sure, not everyone is a Harry Potter fan. Just look at what our own Seth Combs has to say about the boy wizard franchise. But for those who are, we got word–after deadline, so we couldn’t get it into this week’s paper–that there’s a Harry Potter movie marathon kicking off Friday. Yes, that’s a movie a day for five days, leading up to the new movie, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, which has, to date, garnered very positive reviews. All the films will be shown at Reading Cinema’s Town Square 14 in Clairemont, and ticket prices are just $7. Whether you dress up like a wizard is up to you, but be aware that if you do, you will be mocked. And probably wanded in ways you’ve never considered.
Friday, July 10, 7:30 p.m.: Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone
Saturday, July 11, 7:30 p.m.: Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets
Sunday, July 12, 7:30 p.m.: Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban
Monday, July 13, 7:30 p.m.: Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire
Tuesday, July 14, 7:30 p.m.: Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix
Tuesday, July 14, midnight: Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince

Prisoner of Azkaban is still the best in the franchise!
