Deputy Sheriffs Association not happy with District Attorney

August 27, 2009 - 5:05 pm

The Deputy Sheriff’s Association of San Diego County isn’t pleased with District Attorney Bonnie Dumanis’ decision to not file charges against the homeowners involved in a scuffle with deputy sheriff during a fundraiser for congressional candidate Francine Busby. The DAS’s letter alleges that what the deputy faced (angry party guests) “did in fact reach a level of of a concerted ‘lynching’” and asks Dumanis to reconsider filing misdemeanor resisting arrest charges.

You can read the DSA letter here and the letter from Bonnie Dumanis here.
