If you haven’t seen the attack ad (and website) Carly Fiorina launched against her primary opponent for the Senate nomination, Tom Campbell, watch it right now.
Did you watch it? Sheep! No, honestly, this might be the most ridiculous smear I’ve ever seen. FCINO?

It’s a very odd ad… it was *meant* to be a smear… but… what is it?
At first, Tom is first among the sheep. Then, he is a wolf (or, a person dressed like a wolf) dressed in sheep’s clothing. So, the people of California are just sheep.
Beware of the FCINOs!
All they needed to make that ad perferct was to have some of the sheep bleat out “Four legs good! Two legs BAAADD!”
The more I think about “FCINO” the stupider it gets.
Fiorina is playing off “DINO” and “RINO” (Democrats/Republicans In Name Only). They’re both handy acronyms, each with a potential visual element, used as perjoratives against people who are technically Democrats, but are conservatives enough to be Republicans (and vice versa).
The point is that “Democrat” or “Republican” is just a party label, something that goes beside your name.
That really doesn’t apply to the term “fiscal conservative,” which isn’t a part of his title or name or any official affiliation.
Well, Fiorina would never be described as a “Fuckin’ Cunt In Name Only”….
