“Compton Cookout” figure plans second party
Jiggaboo Jones, the comedian whose controversial image appeared on the Facebook invite for the “Compton Cookout” party that ignited racial tensions at UC San Diego in February, says he is releasing a DVD of the footage of the event at a party in August.
The “Nigga Night” party will be held in LA, but the location is so far confidential.
“Now that the crazyness has gone away it’s time to kick our shoes off and get down We will be releasing the DVD that everyone will enjoy!” Jones says in an email to the press. “Media members are invited, so that you can see that this event is actually fun and not racist at all !!!…[H]opefully this will put to rest the lies that we insulted people during our event!”
Except that, according to the FlashNews, he is specifically recruiting “insult comics” to perform at the event, which, errr….well, just read the description:
…[E]very white person that attends must wear blackface. Once painted, Jones says they’ll receive a “welfare check” good for free booze and food at the shindig.
Meanwhile, Jones’ friends will be wearing afro wigs and drinking Old English malt liquor forties from brown paper sacks.
For entertainment, there’ll be white rappers performing in blackface, a fried chicken-eating contest, and a dominos competition where people try to beat a “hardcore boneslapper from the ’hood.”
